Seeking an experienced executive to oversee all aspects of our commercial janitorial business, manage daily operations, and ensure that the quality of work meets customer expectations. Someone who can relate to the housekeeping department in the field and present well with a President of a Fortune 500 company in the board room.

Must have experience in the commercial Janitorial space and experience with P&L minimum of 10M and extensive experience in the following:

Finance and Tax Management: This role will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, creating budgets, ensuring that all tax compliance is up-to-date, and reporting on financial status to the owners.

Payroll and HR: They will handle payroll processing and employee benefits, and will oversee human resources functions like conflict resolution, training and development, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Recruiting: This person will lead the effort to attract, recruit, and retain talented individuals for the organization.

Bidding and Estimating: They will manage the process of submitting bids and estimates for new projects or contracts.

New Account Startups: The role involves onboarding new clients and setting up their accounts to ensure a smooth start to their relationship with the organization.

Supply Logistics: The individual will handle the logistics of supply chain management, from vendor negotiation to delivery of goods and services.

Operational Management: This includes overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company to ensure that business is conducted efficiently and effectively.

Client Services: This role will manage customer service interactions, ensuring that all client needs and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.

Budgets: They will be in charge of creating, managing, and adhering to the organization's budget, ensuring that all departments are staying within their financial boundaries.

Leadership Guidance: They will be providing leadership and guidance to all operation managers, both senior and junior, to develop and improve on current systems and procedures. This involves mentoring, coaching, and supporting their professional development.

This professional will work closely with the owners to manage and track the financial performance of the business, manage cash flow, and minimize business risks. This position will also be responsible for generating new leads, acquiring new customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ability to run daily operations and sales with the values that have been built over the past 30 plus years is essential to success in the role.

Duties:

  • Oversee all aspects of the business including daily operations, billing, and deposits.
  • Complete bidding and estimates for new projects and contracts.
  • Work closely with the owners and finance team to ensure financial excellence.
  • Manage and oversee daily operations by being on-site and engaged daily.
  • Manage the hiring and training process for new employees.
  • Ensure that new employees receive in-service training.
  • Manage and track the financial performance of the business with monthly P&L statements and daily labor tracking reports.
  • Ensure cash flow and profitability by pre-approving expenditures and having only owners cut and sign checks.
  • Manage business risks by carefully considering new business opportunities.
  • Generate new leads and acquire new customers.
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure satisfaction through frequent visits and follow-up.
  • Address customer complaints promptly.
  • Tailor services to meet customer needs.
  • Assess customer needs regularly.
  • Work with the owners to create new proposals and costings for new contracts.
  • Maintain open communication channels with customers and address feedback promptly.

Requirement Profile:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
